So from reading the title you’re probably wondering, what actually is there to do in Campbelltown? Campbelltown is just a boring hole, isn’t it? Well guess what? You’re wrong, W-R-O-N-G, wrong! So to prove all the people that say that C’Town is boring and that there’s nothing to do wrong, I’m going to tell you all the fun things you can do in Campbelltown.
First and foremost MAC SQUARE, Trade Secret and BOS!
WOO everyone loves Mac Square. With hundreds of clothing shops like Forever New, Sportsgirl and Cue, no girl will ever be bored. There are also shops for our gamers like JB Hi Fi, Dick Smith, Game and EB games. Plus there is even different stores for the mums and dads of Campbelltown like Playtime Child Care for the little ones, a huge Dan Murphy’s, Bed Bath N’ Table and the best part the food court and coffee shops.
Now for the teenagers that roam around and have nothing to do there is even a places for you to have fun such as AMF Bowling, Event Cinemas and Playtime Gaming Arcade which has a photo-booth.
Now Trade Secret is just one shop but it has INCREDIBLY low prices. People even come from Sydney to check it out and they give it good feedback.
BOS is just pretty much a copy of DFO but it still has some good deals.
Second. Zone 3 and right next door Campbelltown City Bowl!
I think we all know what Zone 3 is, but in case you didn’t know, Zone 3 Laser Tag is the ultimate in high tech adventure. Zone 3 Laser Tag is an exciting, adrenaline packed experience that will leave you wanting more, as they describe it. But basically all you do is shoot other people with lasers. It’s really fun when you have a large group of friends.
City Bowl again is a bowling centre larger than the one at Mac Square. This is also much more fun when you have a big group of people.
Next is Dumaresq Street Cinemas. This is my favourite place out of all of them. Just because of how cheap is it, I mean where else can you see a movie for $6? So Dumaresq Street Cinemas is so affordable that it’s a place everyone has to try out.
We also have the main street which is Queen Street there’s loads of little Asian clothing shops which have very cute, cheap clothes and also lots of op shops as well. Campbelltown Mall is actually located on Queen Street and they have a lot of shops too. Two good ones are the Fruit and Deli Shop and there’s a shop across that sells all kinds of different lollies.
So to finish up I’m going to tell you my favourite places in Campbelltown!
1. Morning Glory
- This is a cute little stationary shop that also has a much better photo-booth than the one at Mac Square. Although you might have to ask the shop keeper how to use it cause it’s in Japanese.
- Its located on Queen Street.
2. Campbelltown Fried Chicken
- Best place in the universe! It has the most delicious chips ever. You have to try them.
- This takeaway shop found on Dumaresq Street.
3. Five O’s
- Good food with low prices pretty much explains this restaurant.
- It’s found on a little street off from Queen Street near ANZ bank.
